Vitamin C has numerous applications because it is a general antioxidant as well as being an integral part of the body’s entire collagen and membrane component. Being a water soluble vitamin, it is rapidly eliminated from the body through the urine and should be replenished on a regular basis. Bioflavonoids, also water soluble, are sometimes collectively called vitamin P. The undiluted citrus bioflavonoid 5X complex used in Multi-Scorb® is five times the strength of bioflavonoids used in most supplements. Bioflavonoids assist vitamin C in supporting capillary integrity and vascular permeability.◆ The minerals have been added to replenish levels that have been depleted by sodium ascorbate, a form of ascorbic acid, through urination.
